Who We Are
Cloudburst is a slow media organization dedicated to convening and storytelling. Founded in 2014, with headquarters on Lake Como Italy, the organization was inspired by the concept of a cloud bursting into infinite drops—each unique but part of a larger, more beautiful and powerful whole. We use this metaphor to think about the world and the potential role humanity can step into, if it develops the will and capability to do so.
Our mission is to create media and host conversations that serve a deep cultural shift. We are rooted in a paradigm of love, interconnectedness, and hope for a better world for everyone, including the more-than-human world. We put a lot of emphasis on intergenerational work, prioritizing healing across time. We listen to and take seriously the ideas of kids.
