Rola Khoury,
Executive Director

Rola Khoury is a visionary leader with a distinguished background in public relations spanning music, fashion, environment, and international law. Renowned for her ability to bridge the worlds of celebrity influence, policy, philanthropy, and ecological regeneration, she has played a pivotal role in convening high-profile figures for transformative social and environmental initiatives. 

Rola holds a degree in International Law and has worked with leading businesses and governments around the world, including the Australian Embassy and Trade Commission’s Office in Italy. In 2014, Rola played a pivotal role at the World Expo in Milan, mandated by the Italian government to organize the primary events and concert. 

As Executive Director of Cloudburst, she has organized numerous events focused on whole-systems change and regeneration across the Commonwealth. This work led to the founding of the Common Earth Charity, now dedicated solely to implementing regenerative development projects internationally, with a focus on Small Island Developing States. Rola sits on numerous boards, including Project CETI, an initiative focused on translation of citation language of sperm whales, a project that won the TED Audacious Award in 2020, and is very close to her heart.
