ABOUT THE PROJECT
"Mummy, how can a song change the world?"
A child's question holds the deepest truths. A song alone does not change the world, but the people who sing it together do. A song carries more than sound—it carries vibration, intention, and connection. It awakens hearts, unites voices, and becomes a shared breath across borders, faiths, and languages. It is a moment of deep listening, where we remember that what binds us is always greater than what divides us.
A song is like a mirror—when we sing together, we see not only ourselves but each other. We Pray is not just a song—it is a movement, a reflection, a golden thread that binds our voices into one symphony of belonging.
Inspired by the global resonance of Coldplay’s song, We Pray, Cloudburst is bringing together children, musicians, artists, and storytellers to create a multicultural arts movement for peace. Through synchronized singing, storytelling, and creative expression, we are crafting a new narrative—one that is lived, felt, and experienced across differences. We do not wait for change; we become it.
Like drops of water meeting at their purest essence, bursting into action together, this movement mirrors Cloudburst’s vision: each drop, each voice, each moment reflecting endlessly into the next, bound by golden lines of connection, like mirrors catching the same light across the world. This is a movement where children are not just watching the world happen—they are shaping it.
How It Works
Beginning in 2025, we will unfold We Pray across the world through three powerful avenues:
Synchronized Global Choirs & Dialogue
Schools across continents will sing We Pray on the same day, in their own languages and musical traditions.
The song will evolve, taking on new dialects, melodies, and cultural influences, making it a living anthem of the world’s diversity and unity.
Each school becomes a mirror reflecting another, until the whole world glows with golden connection.
Exchanges Between Kids & Artists
Young voices will speak with and learn from musicians, artists, and storytellers, creating an ongoing dialogue between generations and cultures.
We will facilitate collaborations between children and world-renowned artists, ensuring that their perspectives shape the movement itself.
Just as Kintsugi repairs what is broken with gold, these exchanges turn distance into closeness, strangers into kin, and stories into a shared masterpiece of human connection
Immersive Media & Storytelling
We will produce a short film series capturing these conversations—featuring artists and children from around the world.
A dynamic social media campaign will showcase the many versions of We Pray, allowing young people to make it their own.
Each performance, each voice, each story is a golden thread woven into the tapestry of a new world in the making.

Why It Matters
We live in a time when children see the world through screens filled with contradiction—endless content, fleeting success, viral moments of anger and division. But beneath the noise, they are asking deeper questions:
"Where do I belong?"
"Does my voice matter?"
"How do I make sense of all of this?"
We Pray does not just answer them—it invites them into a story where they are the main characters.
Instead of performing for clicks, children will be singing for connection.
Instead of chasing visibility, they will be experiencing meaning.
Instead of watching the world happen, they will be shaping it—one voice, one story, one golden thread at a time.
